As we all know nowadays, if you want to drive traffic to your website, fresh content is important. If you have a website that sells a lot of products, it is critical to do a content audit at least once a year to make sure your information is up to date, appealing to the right people, driving the right traffic and getting the conversions you need to be successful. Here is a great article that shows you how to do this:

Hey everyone! When I talk to clients about SEO and internet marketing, one of the most important aspects is keeping your site updated with fresh information. Information that is related to what your site focus is. Although all posts do not have to relate to your site, it could be just stuff that you encountered that you thought was worthwhile to share. The point here is to keep it updated and your followers engaged. Even if your site is new, and you do not have any followers, to get your page to the top of the rankings, this is a good way to help achieve it. You can even do what I do here, I found an interesting article that is relevant to what I do and I want to share it with my clients/friends through my blog. Write a short introduction as to why you’re posting it and what if any benefit it can have, and bam, you have a relevant blog post that your readers can engage with! Until next time, I hope you take something home from it. Comment if you want, because that helps ranking too. Always ask for interaction!!

Here we are. Another New Year (which happy New Year to all!). 2014 is said to be the year of mobile devices. People are going to their smart devices for information more than their desktop PC’s. Is your business or personal website optimized for these devices? Is it easy to read on these devices? It is critical for a website to be fresh and up-to-date if the search engines are going to keep it in the ranks. Blog entries, solid code, responsiveness, and great content updated often are all things that can help your site stay on the top.

This article sheds more light on the importance of these technological improvements. When ready, give us a call and we will help you make your website a-typical!

Branding is differentiation. Color, words and images will help your personal branding stand out among the rest. The creation of a personal brand is much more than creating a logo on the web for 99 bucks. It requires time and a deep study of what your brand represents.

Hello all! Since I started this company a couple of months ago, I was, and still are floored at how many people shell out big bucks for a website and end up getting the rotten end of the stick. I would say that 80% of my clients so far have been ripped off in one manner or another from a web developer. Unfortunately it seems that the web development industry has become somewhat of a wild west where people believe that by installing a wordpress site with a couple of pluggins makes them a web developer. In truth… It does not, in fact, far from it! I read a very good Noir piece (Marketing Noir: Don’t Trust A Web Developer Blindly.) this morning that got me to write about this subject and even if a developer creates the most beautiful site you have ever seen since the creation of the internet, it’s what under the hood that can hurt your business and negate the ‘flashy’ design. As cheesy as I find Noir style writing, it was appropriate for this subject because happens more often then i’d like to see. It not only makes business rough for marketing creatives like mine – but the customer as well. I have found that a healthy part of my business meeting with a prospective client is spent explaining how I can help them NOT get screwed, that their hard earned marketing dollars are in good hands. Read the article, i’m sure most can relate!
